Patricia A. "Pat" Patterson, 76, of Monaca, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at her home. Born in Aliquippa, she was one of two children born to Anna and Nick Dydek. Pat leaves her beloved husband, Thomas D. Patterson with whom she shared 57 years of marriage; four children whom she cherished, Chanda Kovach and her husband, Ed, Thomas L. Patterson and his wife, Traci, Tara Durinsky, and Nikki Miklos; ten grandchildren whom she adored, Dionna Anderson, Daria Minton, Justin DeZulovich, Randy Bracciodieta, Eddie Durinsky, Jordan DeZulovich, Lecksi Durinsky, Tommy Patterson, Taylor Miklos, and Taryn Patterson; and four beloved great-grandchildren, Corrina, Ariyah, Jace and Layla. In addition to Pat's parents, she is now reunited with her late brother, Darius "Toogie" Dydek and a son-in-law, Edward Durinsky. Pat attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Master's Degree in education. For over 30 years, she was employed as a teacher of cosmetology at the Beaver County Vocational Technical School from where she retired. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family. She also loved the casinos, playing cards, solving puzzles, and watching the Pirates, Steelers and college basketball games. Pat was the best of everything; wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Friends will be received on Sunday, June 3rd from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724) 728-4000, where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. with Deacon Robert Bittner officiating.
