Bert H. Seacrist Jr. Bert H. Seacrist, Jr. of Rustburg, died on Friday, June 1, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Linda Dalton Seacrist for almost 50 years. Bert was born on July 20, 1950, to Joyce Wood Seacrist and the late Bert H. Seacrist, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Smith. He leaves to cherish his memory to his sisters, Pat Woods and Vickie Seacrist; three children, Tina Kress, Donna Lanier (Dean), and Keith Seacrist (Angela), six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a close friend like a brother, Mickey Hargis. Bert's family was his heart and soul, he was involved with their life events and loved making them laugh. His next love was drywall, he was faithful and took pride in his work. He loved decorating for Christmas and going shopping. He would open his home to underprivileged teens and carry them on vacation. Bert always seemed tough on the outside but had a heart of gold on the inside. The family will receive friends at the residence, 42 Candlemakers Lane Rustburg.
