Cape Town - Pep Guardiola is currently focused on his Manchester City project, but is keen to one day manage at a World Cup or European Championship.
Guardiola captained Spain when they won a gold medal at the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992.
He also helped Spain reach the quarter-finals of the 1994 World Cup and the quarter-finals of Euro 2000.
And having enjoyed success as a manager at club level, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager says he would like to be involved in an international tournament again.
The 47-year-old was speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws at the Kevin De Bruyne Cup when he said: "I want to be at a World Cup or European Championship once again, yes.
"In the following years, I want to stay where I am. But if someone wants me afterwards, I’m still young."
