Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Pre-monsoon showers lashed many parts of Maharashtra, including Mumbai last night, claiming seven lives. Four people were killed in a village in Dhule district after a tree collapsed on a hut due to heavy rain and gusty winds. Three persons died in Mumbai due to electrocution.

Heavy rain was reported in Thane, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Jalgaon, Washim, Buldhana, Nashik, Ahmednagar and other districts in Marathwada region. The showers also caused heavy damage to crops and houses. Banana crop was damaged in Jalgaon, while many houses collapsed in Ahmednagar.
