For the first time, citizens of this country will be able to directly tell the Prime Minister how they feel their elected representatives have performed since the Modi government took over in 2014. This, they will do through the NaMo application.

Citizens will be able to decide the fate of their MPs and MLAs using the NaMo app. Prime Minister Modi has asked for constituency-wise feedback from people through the app. He has also sought information on the most popular BJP MP and MLA from people.

This survey, being conducted through the NaMo app, is likely to play a major role in ticket distribution during the 2019 general elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been using the NaMo app to engage directly with the citizens on many issues but this latest survey is likely to directly hang the sword over the heads of the BJP's elected representatives, as the public reviews their work. PM Modi has also sought feedback on the Central Government schemes and programmes through this app-based survey.
