WWE news: The Rock may never wrestle again - Has Dwayne Johnson retired from the ring?
THE ROCK may never wrestle for WWE again because he constantly has a busy Hollywood schedule and can’t afford any more injuries.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of WWE’s greatest ever legends and has now managed to become one of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood.
The 10-time world champion’s last full match took place at WrestleMania 29 where he wrestled a 45-minute bout against John Cena.
Around the 15th minute, The People’s Champion tore his adductor and the top of his quad completely off his pelvis at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey before losing the WWE Championship to Cena.
According to Give Me Sport, the publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer claims Hollywood producers have invested too much money on the ex-WWE Champion and he can’t risk any further harm to his body.

There’s too much money in him
Meltzer said: “There’s too much money in him. He got hurt, he had a hernia the year before he tore the hamstring.
"So it’s like he’s been getting hurt in his matches already.
"When you get hurt once you go, ‘it’s one time’ but when you’re getting hurt a lot it’s probably not a good idea especially as he’s getting older and as muscular as he is.”

The Rock’s last ever match took place at WrestleMania 32 where he destroyed Erick Rowan in just six seconds before teaming up with Cena in a brawl against The Wyatt Family.
WWE tried to get The Brahma Bull back for WrestleMania 34 to team up with Ronda Rousey and take on Triple H as well as Stephanie McMahon.
There is no confirmation regarding his in-ring future and nothing official has been said regarding any sort of wrestling retirement.
