Chisenhall doubles for Columbus | Indians minors roundup for June 3

• Clippers: Indians outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall doubled and scored a run in Triple-A Columbus’ 5-1 victory over host Syracuse. Brandon Guyer, also on a rehab assignment with the Clippers (26-28), was 0-for-3 with a walk. Center fielder Brandon Barnes was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. Catcher Francisco Mejia also had two hits, including a double, a run scored and an RBI.

• RubberDucks: Right fielder Connor Marabell’s two-run single got Double-A Akron (32-25) with one run in the ninth, but visiting Erie held on, 4-3. The RubberDucks were 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position and left 12 on base. They were held to five hits, but had 10 walks.

• Hillcats: Advanced Single-A Lynchburg’s doubleheader at Frederick was rained out.

• Captains: Single-A Lake County (22-35) lost for the eighth time in its last nine games, 14-7 to host South Bend. Center fielder Oscar Gonzalez hit his eighth home run of the season.
