Above, an 1895 hunting party from M.t Pleasant prepares to brave the forests of Isabella County, left to right are: Chester R. Gorham, an unidentified man (perhaps a guide), Doctor Richardson, Charles McKenney and P. C. Taylor. Mid-Michigan History is a Morning Sun feature by Jack R. Westbrook, author of Mid-Michigan History and Mid-Michigan History 2, available at the Morning Sun Alma office.
