Judi Dench, 83, reveals she dropped F-BOMB after taking insult at a VERY awkward remark
DAME JUDI DENCH has recalled the moment she swore at a paramedic, after they asked the James Bond actress if she had a carer.
The 83-year-old opened up about the seriously awkward anecdote during the BBC2 documentary Nothing Like a Dame.
Recalling the incident, the Oscar award-winning actress explained she had been receiving medical help after being stung by a hornet.
However, while she was receiving treatment from a young paramedic, the national treasure ended up feeling insulted - after he asked if she had a carer.
Sharing the moment with viewers, she said: “A paramedic walked into the room who was about 17 and said, ‘What’s our name?’
“So I said, ‘Judi,’ and he said, ‘Have we got a carer?’”
I’m afraid I completely blew my top. I said, ‘You f*** off!
The actress went on to explain that she was left fuming by the comment - and swore at the paramedic.
Dame Judi revealed she then shut down the paramedic by telling him how she had over recently been performing live on stage in London.
She continued: “And I’m afraid I completely blew my top. I said, ‘You f*** off!’
"'I’ve just done eight weeks of The Winter’s Tale at the Garrick Theatre.’ I was so angry.”
Dame Maggie Smith, who stars alongside Dame Judi, Dame Eileen Atkins, and Dame Joan Plowright in the documentary, went on to share another of the star’s anecdotes.

Taking a trip down memory lane, the Harry Potter star revealed she is often left unhappy when people ask about arrangements for after her death.
The 83-year-old confessed: “I don't like it when people ask if you've sorted your funeral.”
Turning to Dame Judi, she brought up a moment when The Age of Innocence actress Miriam Margolyes had asked her the same question.
Dame Maggie said: “Do you remember Miriam Margolyes asked you that? Cause she'd sorted it out.
“Then she said, 'Have you, Jude?' and you said 'No I have not.' And she said 'Why?’”

Dame Judi was then revealed to have replied: “’Cause I'm not going to die.'"
Earlier this year, Dame Judi was the subject of a very awkward gaffe at the SAG Awards 2018, after the star’s nomination card featured a huge mistake.
It came during the 24th Screen Actors Guild Awards, in which the actress was nominated for her portrayal of Queen Victoria in the film Victoria and Abdul.
However, eagle-eyed viewers spotted that the card had included a major spelling error, as it included the words “leading roll”, rather than “leading role”.
Nothing Like a Dame is available to watch on BBC iPlayer now.
