Love Island 2018: Coronation Street extra Beth Morgan drops BOMBSHELL about ITV2 show
LOVE ISLAND 2018 kicks off tomorrow night, and ahead of the return of the ITV2 show, former Coronation Street extra Beth Morgan has let slip a huge secret about the hit series.
The 22-year-old shot to fame after appearing as an extra in Coronation Street.
Earlier this year, Beth hit the headlines after she was reportedly dropped from the ITV soap.
A source at ITV told Express.co.uk at the time: “No such specific conversation has been had about whether we will or won't use her again, but it has been made clear to her and her agent that the photographs she took and posted online should not have happened.”
Now, in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the glamour model has revealed she was recently scouted by an agency in the hopes of appearing in the hit TV series Love Island.
The Page Three girl has previously spoken out about turning down an agent who suggested she applied for the dating show, due to being in a relationship.
But, in a recent interview, Beth explained that she has been contacted by another agent who hoped to pitch her as a prospective contestant for the show.
Revealing she had been in touch with BLVK Management, who looks after Geordie Shore star Scotty T among others, the Manchester-born beauty said the agency suggested she could be pitched to ITV in the hopes of getting her an interview for the reality TV show.
Spilling all, she said: “They contacted me asking if I wanted to do Love Island.
“But, obviously because I have got an other half, I couldn’t.”
She continued: “They’d want me to be single, but I’m not going to finish with my boyfriend just to go on a reality show.”

Admitting she wouldn’t be impressed if the shoe was on the other foot, Beth added: “I’d go absolutely bizarre if someone did that to me.”
The Love Island 2018 line-up was revealed earlier this week, ahead of the Islanders’ debut in the TV show tomorrow.
Amongst this year’s contestants is Dani Dyer, who is the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer.
Ahead of her arrival on the island, the 22-year-old spoke out about the one things which would put her off from dating someone.
Opening up about why a potential romance which came to an abrupt end in the past, Dani explained she dumped a prospective suitor after her mentioned her famous dad.

Recalling the incident, she told the Daily Star: “My most disastrous date was when a boy told the waitress who my dad was.
“We were sitting there and then he tapped the waitress on the shoulder and said, 'Do you know who her dad is?'"
Revealing she was unable to forgive her date for the remark, the bar maid went on: “That's when he saw the other side to me.
“And I unfollowed him on Instagram."
Love Island returns tomorrow on ITV2 at 9pm.
