Three juveniles were apprehended on Saturday for allegedly committing a series of armed robberies in outer Delhi, the police said, adding that the gang had robbed at least five vehicles.
Countrymade pistols were recovered from their possession, the police said. Additional DCP (Outer) Rajendra Singh Sagar said they were informed that a few boys were using firearms to rob people in the area. The accused used a red car for committing the crime, the officer added.
Based on a tip-off, the police nabbed two minors from Pitampura around 8.30 a.m. They revealed the involvement of another after which one more juvenile was apprehended. “The accused said they work for Anil alias Singhania from Haryana,” he said.
