All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Jammu & Kashmir, a soldier was killed and an army Major was injured after they slipped off a mountain and fell down into a deep gorge in Uri sector of north Kashmir's Baramulla district today.

Security sources told AIR that duo was part of the patrolling party at Maidan Uri area.The injured soldier later succumbed to injuries while Major rank officer is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Meanwhile, terrorists lobbed a hand grenade towards CRPF Bunker at Hari Sing High Street in Srinagar's uptown area this evening. However,there was no immediate report of any loss of life or injury due to the explosion.
