MoS in PMO Dr.Jitendra Singh today said that government has been endeavouring to resolve the issues with Pakistan both at diplomatic and Military levels. Speaking during the interaction with media persons held at Jammu today, in connection with the completion of the four years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government, the Union Minister said that Pakistan sponcered terrorism in Kashmir Valley is in it's last stage and that any decision taken on Kashmir problem would be in the national interest. On the decision of unilateral ceasefire in Kashmir Valley by the security forces during holy month of Ramdan and union home minister's recent statement on holding of dailogue with all the stakeholders in Kashmir valley, the union minister clarified these decisions are limited to normal circumstances only and there would be no compromise on national security. He added that any threat to security related issues would be dealt strictly.
Reiterating centre government's commitment to special attention to Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Minister said that government has been making efforts to ensure equitable development of all the regions of the state which include Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Dr.Singh further said that unprecdentedtly bold decisions of the econmic reforms like demonetization and GST have been taken by Modi Government for the overall national interest adding that not even a single Minister in Modi Government have been found involved in corruption which proves the the government's resolve of zero tolerance on corruption.MoS PMO said government has taken a number of intiatives to address the problems of border people. Earlier the Minister also interacted with the Editors of various media units and the the private and public roadcasters of Jammu region.
