Nabil Fekir’s agent

Some quite exciting news coming from the French press this evening regarding Nabil Fekir.

Journalist claims the agent of Nabil Fekir, Jean-Pierre Bernes, will arrive in Liverpool tomorrow to finalise a deal.

The reporter, who works for Eurosport France and Canal Plus, adds that if everything goes according to plan then a medical for the French international should follow shortly.

He tweeted: “#Fekir and his agent Jean-Pierre #Bernès should be this Sunday 03/06/2018 to #Liverpool to settle the final details of the transfer of the French international. If all goes well, medical visit in stride!”

Jurgen Klopp's side have been persistently linked with a move worth in the region of £60million for the 24-year-old France international, who captained the Ligue 1 side this season.

Dembele blow

Ousmane Dembele will not be leaving the club this summer, according to president Josep Bartomeu.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Frenchman in recent weeks, as speculation continues to surround his future in Spain.

However, Bartomeu insists Dembele is a player Barcelona want to keep hold of.

"Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele are for us a big investment," he told the Associated Press. "They are very important players and we expect a lot from them.

"But Dembele is a very young player, a very talented player that we are, of course, expecting a lot from.

"He's been demonstrating during the season that he's a good young player for us. But, of course, next season will be different.

"It's not easy to play in Barcelona the first year because the model of football is quite different from the rest. But after one year I'm sure we are going to see Dembele and Coutinho at a very high level."

Alisson to Real Madrid

Liverpool transfer target Alisson Becker has reportedly decided which club he wants to join this summer.

The Roma goalkeeper is expected to leave Serie A this summer after a wealth of interest in recent months.

Alisson only conceded 28 goals in the league this season, leading to Liverpool and Real Madrid expressing the desire to sign the 24-year-old.

However, it appears the Reds are set to miss out on the shot-stopper.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, Alisson has decided to join Los Blancos over Liverpool.

Roma are planning to cash in on their star player, and want to rake in around £50m for the Brazilian this summer.

Thomas Lemar to Atletico Madrid

Liverpool’s long-term pursuit of Monaco star Thomas Lemar looks increasingly unlikely, according to reports in Spain.

The Reds, along with Premier League rivals Arsenal, were heavily linked with the 22-year-old last summer but dropped their interest due to Monaco’s hefty valuation.

Recent reports claimed Jurgen Klopp’s side had renewed their interest in the £101million-rated French international, but the battle could be over already.

That’s because Spanish newspaper AS claim Atletico Madrid have opened negotiations with Lemar’s representatives this week.

The La Liga side want Lemar to sign regardless of whether Barcelona target Antoine Griezmann leaves the club or not.

And the Spanish publication claim Atleti's Director of Sport Andrea Berta has already travelled to France to hold talks with Monaco officials about a potential deal.

Nabil Fekir update

Nabil Fekir has told Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas he wants to join Liverpool.

But Aulas is refusing to sell his man before the World Cup - because he thinks his value could rise in Russia.

The France international is valued at around £50million but Aulas believes that value could sky rocket.

Liverpool want to do their deals as early as possible and already have two key additions in the bag. Naby Keita will join the club from RB Leipzig on July 1 while they last week wrapped up a deal for Fabinho.

While Lyon are keen to wait to see how it develops, Liverpool plan to up their efforts to bring Fekir to Anfield in the next 10 days.

As yet there has been no formal bid for the attacking midfielder and Fekir himself has insisted he won't complete a move until after the World Cup.

Bernard interest

Liverpool and Arsenal are among the clubs fighting to sign Shakhtar Donetsk star Bernard, according to claims from Italy.

The Brazil international has 14 caps but is leaving Shakhtar on a free this summer.

And the tricky winger is attracting attention from England with Italian-based journalist Andersinho Marques claiming both Liverpool and Arsenal are keen.

There is also interest from China in the 25-year-old.

He scored three goals in the Champions League last season as Shakhtar were knocked out in the last 16 by Roma.

One of those goals came in the 2-1 win over Manchester City and he grabbed a double against Feyenoord.
