BJP forms committees for polls


BHOPAL : Bharatiya Janata Party announced several committees for the upcoming elections after its meeting of election management committee on Saturday.

Public relations minister Narottam Mishra has been assigned the responsibility of political coordination committee.

It is said that the committee has been formed to bring leaders of other parties into the BJP. MLA Narayan Tripathi, who played a key role in bringing several leaders of Congress into the BJP, has been made a member in the committee.


Home minister Bhupendra Singh has been made convener of election campaigning strategy committee. Vijesh Lunawat is made the convener of publicity and literature committee, while Alok Sharma, Rajnish Agarwal, Rajendra Singh and Chetan Singh have been made its members.

Vikram Verma has been made president of vision document committee. This committee also has Raghunandan Sharma and Prahlad Patel in it.

Prabhat Jha has been made in charge of Chief Minister’s ‘janashirwaad yatra’. The committee also has MP Ajay Pratap Singh and Vishwas Sarang.

The committee made for Chief Minister’s tours has Arvind Bhadoria as its convener.

BD Sharma has been made convener of conventions organized by the BJP across the state.

Krishna Murari Moghe has been assigned the work of collecting election donation. Moghe is accompanied by Jayant Mallaiya, Rajendra Shukla and Hemant Khandelwal in the committee.
