Arawang remain undefeated on top of Netball ACT ladder
Arawang remain undefeated on top of the Netball ACT state league ladder with a 65-44 thumping of Belconnen at Lyneham on Friday night.
It means Arawang are four points clear on top of the table after five rounds, ahead of second-placed Canberra.
Canberra enjoyed some revenge on defending champions Tuggeranong, winning their grand-final rematch 51-44.
They'll take on South Canberra next week, who beat the winless Queanbeyan 52-45.
South Canberra will look to atone for their round-one capitulation to Canberra, when they gave up an 11-point lead to lose.
“We know we can get the intercepts against Canberra, we know we can move the ball around the court
against them," South Canberra coach Adele-Marie Bullock said.
"What we’ve worked on since round one is our composure – which is what won us the match
[Friday night] and against Belconnen last week."
