CET results announced today

Document verification to be held from June 5 in 16 centres across state

The Karnataka Examinations Authority released the Common Entrance Test (CET) rankings on Friday afternoon. The results were released by Additional Chief Secretary V. Manjula and Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Rajkumar Khatri.

Of the 1.92 lakh candidates who appeared for the test, 1.46 lakh students are eligible for engineering and technology courses, 1.13 lakh candidates for agriculture, 1.15 lakh for veterinary courses and 1.47 lakh for B.Pharma and D. Pharma courses.

The top five ranks for engineering courses have been secured by Shridhar Dodamani from Excellent P.U. Science College, Vijayapura; Narayan Pai from Sharada Independent PU College, Dakshina Kannada; Debarsho Sannyasi from Jindal Vidya Mandir, Ballari; Tuhin Girinath from Narayana E-Techno School, Bengaluru; and Aneeta James, National Public School, Bengaluru.

For the agriculture courses, the top five rank holders are Shridhar Dodamani from Excellent P.U. Science College, Vijayapura; Saikumar R. Sadhunavar from Chetan Inspendent PU College, Hubballi-Dharwad; Mahima Krishna from VVS Sardar Patel PU College, Bengaluru; S.R. Apuroopa from Sankalpa PU College, Ballari; and Shreyas S. from Presidency PU College, Bengaluru.

The top scorers for veterinary courses are Vineet Megur from Expert PU College Valachil, Mangaluru; S.R. Apuroopa from Sankalpa PU College, Ballari; Adithya Chidananda Eswhwarla from Sri Kumaran Children's Home, Bengaluru; Vaishnavi P.J. from Expert PU College Valachil, Mangaluru; and Shreyas S. from Presidency PU College, Bengaluru.

The top five ranks for B.Pharma/ D.Pharma courses have been secured by Tuhin Girinath from Narayana E-Techno School, Bengaluru; Aneeta James, National Public School, Bengaluru; M. Yogesh Madhava Reddy from Narayana E-Techno School, Bengaluru; Debarsho Sannyasi from Jindal Vidya Mandir, Ballari; and Narayan Pai from Sharada Independent PU College, Dakshina Kannada.

Mr. Khatri said that verification of documents would begin from June 5. It will held in 16 centres across the state.
