DLSA observes ‘World No-Tobacco day’

Nagpur: The District Legal Services Authorities (DLSA), Nagpur, with the assistance of police department, observed ‘World No-Tobacco Day’ at the district court premises on Thursday.
The visitors and employees of the Nyay Mandir were frisked randomly and the seized tobacco products were destroyed.

Citizens were also made aware about the ill effects of such materials and their detrimental influences on the health. The consumers were also shared with the information about the state government’s ban on such subjects and penalty it may attract from the enforcing agencies.

Sources from the Nyay Mandir premises claimed the citizens were curious about the drive which went on daylong with the DLSA volunteers and cops joining hands to spread the awareness.
