2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." Bill Charles Ward, 79, of Daugherty Township, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 30, 2018. He was born April 8, 1939 in Butler, Tenn., son of the late Elmer O. and Lena Blanche (Gregg) Ward. Bill retired with over 30 years of service from the Aliquippa Works of LTV Steel where he was a Shearman in the Fourteen Inch Mill. Bill was first and foremost a family man. He was the kind of a dad and pap pap that kids and grandkids would love to have; a prankster with a great sense of humor. He was loving and supportive of their interests and always proud of their accomplishments. Bill was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, loyal to his core of the silver and blue. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Ray Ward and Earl Ward. Bill is survived by one son, William "Bill" (Kim Lang) Ward, Rochester; three daughters and sons-in-law, Roxane (Kenneth) Crosby, North Apollo, Pa.; Kimberly (Christopher) DeDominicis, New Brighton; Debbie (Ronald Griffin) Ward, Beaver Falls; 11 grandchildren, Brian, Michael and Annie Crosby; Shandi Ward; Anthony (Jaimie) DeDominicis; Alexis DeDominicis; Troy (Ashley) Pieprzyk; Tiffany, Chad and Trey Pieprzyk; and Max Howell; nine great-grandchildren, Jason, Derek, Mallaina, Alexandria, Stefan, Arianna, Angela, Tanner and Jack; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack (Babe) Ward, Elizabethton, Tenn.; Rev. Burl (Nancy) Ward, Ruffsdale, Pa.; Robert Harold (Nadine) Ward, Beaver Dam, Ky.; Dale Ward, Elizabethton, Tenn.; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Ward, Darlington and Barbara Ward, Kingsport, Tenn.; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends will be received Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
