Polka Mass and dance planned at SNPJ Farm

A Polka Mass and dance celebrating Father’s Day will be held June 17 at SNPJ Farm, 10946 Heath Road in Kirtland.

Father Frank Perkovich’s Polka Mass enhances the spiritual experience with hymns set to favorite polka and waltz melodies, according to a news release. It’s a unique expression of faith, based upon Slovenian-Americans musical traditions.

The Polka Mass begins promptly at 1 p.m. Sing-along sheets are available.

Polka Hall of Famers Jeff Pecon, John Pecon, Ralph Delligatti and Fred Kuhar will entertain with classic Cleveland-Style polkas and waltzes for dancing from 3 to 7 p.m.

Father’s Day dinners can be purchased after the Polka Mass. Choices include smoked Slovenian sausage and home-style roast beef while Chef Dean’s fried bologna sandwiches are the special of the day.

Admission to the Polka Mass and dance is $8 though children and teens get in for free. Call 216-481-1379 for more details.
