NEW DELHI: Various arms of the government can now track incoming foreign contributions as well as their utilisation by recipient NGOs on a real-time basis with the launch of a new online analytical tool by the Union
home ministry on Monday.
This web-based tool enables decision-makers to scrutinise source of foreign funds, country-wise break-up of contributions, purpose for which they have been received as well as foreign contribution flow, based on which they can take data-driven decisions, ministry sources said. The tool has analytical features to conduct data mining and exploration regarding compliance of the FCRA, 2010.
