A man is in custody after a woman died and two men were stabbed on the far south coast of New South Wales.
An extensive search began about 3:30pm Friday evening and road blocks were put in place after a man and a woman were found with knife wounds at a home in Bega.
The woman died and the man is in a critical condition after being airlifted to a Sydney hospital.
Following the incident, a second man was stabbed during a carjacking on Sapphire Coast Drive, Bournda.
He was taken to a Sydney hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
At 8:20pm this evening, a 20 year-old man was arrested and taken to Bega Police Station.
Inquiries are continuing.
