Congress leader and former whip T. Jayaprakash Reddy dared the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), including Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao to come for open debate on the development in eight constituencies of erstwhile Medak district except Gajwel and Siddipet being represented by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao respectively. He has alleged that the development was confined to Siddipet and Gajwel only at the cost of other constituencies by diverting huge funds.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy said there was no landmark development that took place in all the other constituencies except laying of roads and other works which were common under any government.

“I am ready for an open debate on the development. We are instrumental in bringing Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H) at Kandi, JNTU, at Sultanpur and others. Let them show such development during the TRS rule,” said Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy.

Referring to medical college, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy said they will continue the agitation till it was sanctioned and as part of that, signatures of about 10,000 students will be collected on June 22 at Ganji Maidan.
