Vida Exclusive: Mari and Emma Finally Throw Down

Tensions have finally reached a boiling point between Emma (Mishel Prada) and Mari (Chelsea Rendon) on Vida.

Emma has accepted that settling her mom's affairs is going to take longer than expected and she'll go stir crazy staying in the apartment trying to fix all of it, so she's looking to rent a house in the neighborhood. Naturally, she picks one of the new renovations that forced a Latinx family out of their home and Mari isn't about to let her financially contribute to the gentrification of the neighborhood.

The two end up in more than just another verbal sparring match though. After insults are traded in both Spanish and English, the two women actually start to get physical on the front lawn of Emma's potential new landlord. Yeah, that's probably not going to go well when it comes to getting a lease.
