GARETH BALE could be a 'game changing' player for Manchester United, claims fan favourite Gary Neville.
The Real Madrid star is facing an uncertain summer amid reports he is set to leave the Spanish capital.
Bale netted twice in the Champions League final before telling reporters he was unsure whether he would remain at the La Liga outfit next term.
The Welshman has since been heavily linked with a move to United.
And Neville has given his backing to Bale joining Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford this summer.
“I’ve got a lot of admiration for him as a player," he told BBC Radio Manchester.

“I’d like to see Messi play for United or Ronaldo or Neymar or all these players, but the reality is they’ve got to want to come to the club.
“That’s the first question that needs to be asked.
“If he wants to come to United then absolutely, yes, because he’s a fantastic player and he is a game changer.
“For me every top club is looking for that player who is the difference, who can turn the big games.”
Bale's reservations about staying at Madrid may now be shelved after the shock departure of Zinedine Zidane.
