Pakistani arrested

A 41-year-old Pakistan national was arrested on Friday by the Central Crime Station officials for allegedly threatening his wife and step-daughter to upload their nude photos and videos on internet. Police said the accused, Mohd. Usman Ikram, a resident of Chaderghat, and native of Pakistan’s Punjab province, married the complainant fraudulently by claiming himself as Indian citizen when they were working in Dubai.

“When the woman returned to Hyderabad, he too entered the country illegally, fabricated the identification documents, and started staying with her in Hyderabad, who already had two daughters, before marrying him,” said Avinash Mohanty, DCP, Detective Department.

In the complaint, the woman told police that the accused had already sold the obscene videos and photos of her daughter to unknown persons, which later went viral on internet.

Ikram also extorted money from the woman and physically assaulted her when she refused to fulfil his demands.
