Indore: The police on Thursday booked a youth for allegedly raping a girl after blackmailing her of circulating her video. The accused harassed the girl even after her marriage. According to AJK police station staff, the victim had lodged a complaint that she met accused Kumud a few years ago when she was teenager.
Once Kumud gave her sedative pills in water after which she fell unconscious and accused raped her. He had also captured a video of the girl through which he blackmailed her and raped her. The victim alleged that she had to undergo abortion three times after she was raped by the accused.
Later, victim got married but the accused did not stop harassing her. Finally, victim showed courage and reported the matter to husband and later to the police. The police booked the accused under IPC sections and SC, ST Act. Further investigation is underway and search is also on for the accused.
