United States President Donald Trump on Friday questioned as to why American-Canadian comedian Samantha Bee hasn't been fired for calling his daughter a "feckless c***" on the latest episode of TBS's "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee".
"Why aren't they firing no talent Samantha Bee for the horrible language used on her low ratings show? A total double standard but that's O.K., we are Winning, and will be doing so for a long time to come!," Trump tweeted.
CNN and TBS are both owned by Turner, a subsidiary of Time Warner.
The comedian's racial slur came during a monologue in which Bee slammed Trump for failing to take action to avoid undocumented immigrant children from being separated from their parents, CNN reported.
Bee castigated White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump for posting a photo with her son while the policy that requires separating parents from their children was the focus of national attention.
"You know, Ivanka, that's a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another: Do something about your dad's immigration practices, you feckless c-," she said.
"Put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to f***ing stop it," she added.
However, on Thursday, Bee apologised as she wrote, "I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night. It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.
