Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai and Tesla boss Elon Musk’s “other-worldly” brief exchange on Twitter kept the micro-blogging site abuzz with reactions on Friday.

It all began when a satirical website called Clickhole, published a piece with the headline “More Bad Press For Elon: The Car Elon Musk Launched Into Orbit Has Fallen Back Down To Earth And Crushed Malala Yousafzai,” along with the link on Twitter.

The parody says Musk’s Tesla car fell from the sky and ‘crushed Malala to death’ and “the successful launch of [Elon Musk’s] car into orbit... will be forever linked to the tragic and untimely death of the 20-year-old activist who has inspired millions around the globe with her amazing advocacy for peace and education,” according to TeenVogue.

Malala responded to the story on her Twitter handle, “Hello from the other side @elonmusk”.

Musk, who tweeted on the story earlier on Wednesday, replied to her, along with a ghost image greeting, “Hi @Malala! “

The Oxford student cheekily said that she would keep the car and the Tesla founder quickly agreed. “Finders keepers”, he tweeted back.

Malala’s brother Khushal Yousafzai too joined the conversation, telling Malala,“You are too funnyyy sometimes.”

To this, the Nobel Prize winner tweeted a gif, saying: ‘OBVIOUSLY’.

Malala visited Pakistan earlier in March, after spending about six years in the United Kingdom. It was her first trip since she survived an assassination attempt by Taliban militants while returning from school in her native place, Swat Valley in 2012.

During her four-day stay in Pakistan, the Nobel laureate visited her native place and interacted with top Pakistani officials, including now-outgoing Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
