Czech manufacturing growth slows in May from April

PRAGUE: Czech manufacturing growth slowed in May as output and orders weakened, the Markit Purchasing Managers' Index showed on Friday.
The headline PMI reading dropped to 56.5 in May from 57.2 in April, the lowest since last August, data compiled by IHS Markit showed. The 50 point marks divides expansion from contraction.
The figure, though, was higher than a Reuters poll forecast of 56.2 points.
Among survey components, the increase in new export business eased and was the weakest since December 2016.
