Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Kapoor is all set to impress the audience with Vikramaditya Motwane’s thriller Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. The film has hit the cinemas today facing a box-office battle with Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Veere Di Wedding. The early review for Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is in and, members of the social media have already given the film big thumbs up.
Film critic and journalist Faridoon Shahryar, fell head over heels for the movie.

Talking about the film, Motwane told Reuters, “At one level there is the idealism in the film, and the other part is, how do you tell this to an audience? And being a huge fan of graphic novels and superhero films, the two worlds merged. When I wrote the original film in 2010, the whole story about corruption was at its peak – the Congress government was there, and people were really angry about it. The Jan Lokpal movement happened, the anti-corruption movement happened. I wrote the film about corruption in Mumbai, about land grabbing. Then sadly, the film didn’t happen. First with Imran (Khan), and then Siddharth (Malhotra). By the time Harshvardhan came on board, the government had changed and the narrative was about “acche din” (good days).”
The trailer of Bhavesh Joshi Superhero released early this month to positive reviews. The film is touted to be full of drama and action. The action-packed trailer traces the journey of a group of friends who set out on the path of righteousness. It shows Harshvardhan emerging as the new superhero in town after a series of incident turns their life upside down.
