Liverpool transfer news: Nabil Fekir move in DOUBT as Lyon chief wants bidding war
LIVERPOOL may end up missing out on Nabil Fekir due to interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
The Reds are in pole position to land the Lyon playmaker in the coming weeks, with negotiations reportedly already underway between the respected parties.
Fekir has remained coy over his future but appeared to say his goodbyes to both fans and players in the French club's final home game of the season.
But club president Jean-Michel Aulas is now planning to play hardball over the attacker's potential move to Anfield.
According to L'Equipe, the Lyon chief is hoping new interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid will drive Fekir's price up this summer.

The 24-year-old will warrant a transfer fee of around £50m at present.
But with other European heavyweights now chasing his signature, a bidding war could ensue in the coming months.
To add, Aulas also wants to keep Fekir until after the World Cup in the hope the player shines for France in Russia.

However, Liverpool want a move completed before the tournament gets underway in two weeks time to avoid having to spend more money later in the window.
The Reds have already secured two new additions heading into next season.
Naby Keita is set to join from RB Leipzig this summer, while Monaco star Fabinho signed a long-term deal earlier this week.
