Tommy Lambert pitched a five-hitter with seven strieouts and one walk and David Monteiro came off the bench to go 2-for-2 with two runs batted in as playoff-bound Durfee (11-9) finished its baseball regular season by beating Bridgewater-Raynham Regional 9-1 on Thursday in Bridgewater.

The Hilltoppers smacked 13 hits. Leadoff batter Matt Saunders was 2-for-3. Zak Souza was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Lucas Sousa was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Durfee broke open a 5-1 game in a four-run seventh inning.

The lone B-R run was unearned.

Apponequet 7, Bishop Stang 2: At Lakeville, Jack Sefrino went 2-for-3 with a run batted in for the Spartans (9-9) in this regular-season-ending loss.

Stang freshman Frankie Manon was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Only three of the seven runs off losing pitcher Sefrino were earned.
