U.S. oil prices mark lowest finish since April

Oil futures fell Friday as growing U.S. production and the possibility that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies will boost output prompted U.S. benchmark prices to settle at their lowest level since April. July West Texas Intermediate crude lost $1.23, or 1.8%, to settle at $65.81 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It lost nearly 3.1% for the week.
