Mumbai: Fire breaks out at Scindia House, 8 fire tenders rushed to spot

MUMBAI: A fire errupted on the third floor of Scindia House near Income Tax office in city's Ballard estate area around 4.55pm on Friday.
The building is a ground plus six storey structure.

Eight fire engines, six jumbo water tankers and two ambulances have been rushed to the site.

The fire broke out in the building at around 5pm.

Chief fire officer PS Rahangdale said that fire is confined to the third and fourth floor of the building. "Around four to five person are learned to be stranded on the upper floors and terrace of the building," said Rahangdale.

No casualty have been reported in the incident so far.
