Summer camps for 385 Govt schools in Haryana

In a bid to enhance the talent and skills of the students in the state, Haryana Government will organise special summer camps from June 1 to 5 in 385 selected Government schools during summer vacation.

The summer camps will be organized for the students of class 6 to class 8 and class 9 to class 12 in government schools, said an official spokesman.

He said that the camps would begin from 8 am and continue till 12 noon. The programme of all activities to be done during these four hours has been prepared.

During the camp, activities like art and craft, painting, best out of waste, theatre among others would be done. The Art and Cultural Affairs Department would provide its support in various activities. Famous artists from Department like saranginiwadak, tablawadak, harmonium, singing and dancing would train the students during the camps, the spokesman said.

He said that all district education officers and district elementary education officers have already been given necessary directions about the camp.

These camps are being organised for the past few years and are very popular among the students. Mid-day meal would be provided to the students of class 6 to class 8, he added.
