Georgean Rose Carter (Smith), 62, of Hookstown (Raccoon Township), passed away on May 29, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. A 1974 graduate of Hopewell High School, Georgean served in the U.S. Navy as a personnel clerk during the Vietnam War. She leaves her husband, Bruce A. Carter; a son, Eric (Kortney) Smith; a daughter, Jessica (Thomas) Faessel, and two grandchildren, Alexis and Braden.
