Indore: DAVV admits mistakes in 4 model answer keys of DET


Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has admitted mistakes in four model answer keys of doctoral entrance test (DET) and said that the exam results would be declared tentatively on Thursday. The university also stated that the common entrance test (CET) results may be announced on June 1.

PhD cell chairman at DAVV, Prof VB Gupta said that they had received five complaints from two candidates on model answer keys of DET. Two complaints were over answer keys of English subject and three for Instrumentation subject. “One complaint of English and three of Instrumentation subject were found true. After making necessary changes in the model answer sheet we are now evaluating the answer books,” Gupta said.

He also stated that the amount for all the right complaints would be refunded. The university had charged Rs 500 for each objection on answer keys. The students will be required to use password allocated at the time of registration for accessing their results. “We have made score sheets password enabled. In other words, the score sheet won’t open until password is used,” he said.
