Zidane quits

12:10: Zinedine Zidane is set to announce he has quit as Real Madrid boss within the next few minutes.

It is being reported by several reliable sources in Spain that Zidane will walk away from the Bernabeu just days after winning his third consecutive Champions League title.

That was backed up by Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri who tweeted today: “ZIDANE QUITS REAL MADRID.”

Liverpool ‘done deal’

11:40: Liverpool have finalised a deal for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir, it has been claimed.

According to VAVEL journalist Mootaz Chehade, Fekir is in the bag following successful talks.

“Nabil Fekir to Liverpool is a done deal,” Chehade wrote on Twitter.

“Announcement expected in the upcoming days.”

The Lyon ace is attracting plenty of interest off the back of an impressive season, scoring 23 goals in 40 appearances.

Arsenal scout Srarfi

10:55: Nice ace Bassem Srarfi is reportedly in the Gunners’ sights.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Arsenal scouted Srarfi on Monday night as Tunisia took on Portugal in Braga.

The attacking midfielder was selected in his country’s World Cup squad after making 26 Ligue 1 appearances this season.

Arsenal were not the only Premier League side there to catch a glimpse of the 20-year-old’s cameo appearance.

Leicester were said to be running the rule over Srarfi too, with Claude Puel a fan of the playmaker.

Ronaldo to Man Utd

10:10: Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, says he would prefer her son to join Manchester United over Real Madrid following his exit hints.

She told SFR Sport prior to Ronaldo’s exit hint in Kiev: “I like Paris. I go there now and again.

“The last time was with my son when he won the Ballon D'Or. I felt very proud.

“Every time I go to Paris, everyone treats me very well.

“If I'm telling you the truth, I wouldn't mind, but I would prefer him to return to Manchester.”

Sarri wants Higuain

09:45: Chelsea transfer target Gonzalo Higuain is reportedly at the top of Maurizio Sarri’s summer wishlist with the Italian set to replace Antonio Conte.

Italian publication Tutto Mercato Web claim Juve striker Higuain fits the bill for the Italian.

The report says Juve are willing to sell their star forward providing they get Alvaro Morata in return.

Morata’s future at the club is in doubt following a disappointing debut season for the Blues and Juve are keen to take him on a permanent deal having previously had him on loan when at Real Madrid.

Tutto Mercato Web say Morata has already met with Juve officials to discuss the prospect of a summer transfer.

Manchester United pursuing Griezmann

09:00: Manchester United are ready to sign Antoine Griezmann ahead of Barcelona this summer after the Atletico Madrid hitman rejected a move to the Nou Camp.

Spanish outlet Don Balon say Jose Mourinho is trying to win the race for Griezmann by making a promise to him.

Griezmann craves love - wherever his next move is.

That seems in short supply at Atletico Madrid with fans of the La Liga giants booing him in their final game of the season.

Griezmann was visibly upset by his treatment and had to be consoled by former Liverpool striker and Atleti legend Fernando Torres.

And Don Balon say Mourinho is using his charm to entice the player to United.

He has supposedly offered the France international a starring role - despite having a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal.
