Ken Kaiser, 67, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at the Red Cedar Lodge, Squaw Creek, Marion. Iowa Cremation is caring for Ken and his family.
Ken Kaiser was born May 5, 1951, in Vinton, Iowa, the son of Veryl and Eleanor (Hays) Kaiser. He was united in marriage to Karen McKibbin on Nov. 3, 1973, in Cedar Rapids. Ken worked for LeFebure Corp. for 22 years. He then went on to work for Kinze Manufacturing for another 22 years. He loved driving his 1955 Chevy, deer hunting, traveling with dear friends Rick and Deb Larson, and, most of all, he loved his family and spending time with friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, Bill McKibbin; and niece, Melissa.
Left to cherish Ken's memories are his wife, Karen Kaiser of Cedar Rapids, 44 years of marriage; three sons, Keith Kaiser, Nathan (Caitlin) Kaiser and Travis (Kendra) Kaiser; nine grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Kayleigh, Elliot, Nolan, Willa, Isabelle, Kilian and Kaedence; mother, Eleanor; brother, Joe (Janet); sister, Susan (Al); mother-in-law, Ramona McKibbin; and three nieces.
