Talk on cancer awareness today

The Hindu, in association with Health Care Global Enterprises Ltd, Vijayawada, will conduct a health talk on cancer awareness at the DRR Municipal Indoor Stadium on Bandar Road at 10 a.m. on Thursday (May 31).

The awareness programme is being organised to mark World No Tobacco Day. The Health Care Global Enterprises specialises in oncology.

Commissioner of Vijayawada Municipal (VMC) Corporation J. Nivas will be the chief guest and Dr. Ranga Raman, Medical Oncologist from HCG Cancer Centre in city, will present a PPT on the subject.

Chief Medical Officer of Health, VMC, K. Arjuna Rao, Additional Commissioner, VMC, D. Chandrasekhar, Assistant General Manager (Operations) of HCG Oncology, Vijayawada, Sridhar Muni and Regional head, HCG, Senthil Nathan, will be present.
