Real Madrid news: Why I understand frustrations with Man Utd target Gareth Bale - Toshack
GARETH BALE has frustrated Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and would be a more regular starter if he steered clear of injuries.

That is the view of former Real Madrid boss John Toshack.
Bale’s season was very stop start, although he came off the bench last Saturday to fire a double to guide Real to a 3-1 victory over Liverpool in Kiev.
Recent reports have suggested that Manchester United are even preparing a number for the Welshman in the event that he makes the move to Old Trafford.
Tottenham were also considering an audacious move, but the 28-year-old won’t be making a dramatic return to north London.

Bale would undoubtedly be a starter if he did not have those injury problems
The ongoing speculation surrounding Bale shows no signs of abating, but Toshack clearly sympathises with Zidane.
“If you put yourself in Zidane's situation you have to understand it,” Toshack told Spanish radio station Cadena SER.
“If you analyse the injuries you see that they are not normal.
“Bale would undoubtedly be a starter if he did not have those injury problems.”
Toshack also believes Bale hasn’t helped himself by closing himself off to the media.
He added: “He is a different player from his team-mates.
"He doesn't like to speak to the press, and it's very sad that with all the time he has been in Spain, he doesn't know how to speak the language.
"If you are going to play in another country, at least you have the obligation to try.
"People will always think better of you if you make the effort."
