DeKALB – The city of DeKalb's external telephone systems experienced a temporary outage Thursday morning, and it remains unclear how long this outage will last.
Phone system problems at all city buildings, including the police department, fire department, city hall and public works department, began around 9 a.m.
The city's 911 emergency lines are still fully functional and should be used to contact the city for all emergencies.
