John F. Swinker, 62, of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Born August 6, 1955, in Rochester, he was a son of the late Dr. James and Dr. Giannina Castelli Swinker. A Beaver resident for 35 years, John retired in 2008 as a supervisor with First Energy, Shippingport, having worked for 27 years, including his time with Duquesne Light. An avid outdoorsman, he could be found hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was a participant with the Ostomy Support Group of Beaver County, and a member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. John will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Linda Henning Swinker, Beaver; his son, Michael (Mariah) Swinker, Linn Creek, Mo.; one daughter, Christine Swinker, Crescent, Pa.; two brothers, Robert Swinker, Fort Myers, Fla., and William Swinker, Bonita Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Swinker, Bowling Green, Ohio, and Patricia (Robert) O'Hara; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, June 1, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
