Daniel Docinovich Hopewell Township Daniel Docin-ovich, 94, of Hopewell Twp., passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver. Born September 9, 1923, in Logstown, he was a son of the late Milovan and Milka (Velmerovich) Dojcinovich. Mr. Docinovich retired from LTV Steel in Aliquippa as a crane repairman, with 36 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II as a staff sergeant, and was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church and the American Serbian Club, both in Aliquippa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie (Morris) Docinovich, on October 6, 1994; an infant son, Daniel; two sisters, Helen Vitez and Dorothy Riley, and a brother, Larry Docinovich. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Richard Hecht; three grandchildren, Natalie Hecth-Baldauff and her husband, Ken Baldauff, Dean Hecht, and Dan Hecht; three great-grandchildren, Lillian, Levi and Ben, and a special nephew, Butch Vitez. Family and friends will gather Friday at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, 2200 Irwin St., Aliquippa, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., with Father Branislav Golic officiating. Interment will follow in St. Elijah Church Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. The family would like to thank the staff of Franciscan Manor and Good Samaritan Hospice for all their kindness and loving care.
