EastEnders star Danny Dyer is being tipped to head into the Love Island villa after it was announced his daughter, Dani, would be starring in the new series, which starts next week.
It is claimed ITV2 bosses are trying to get Danny, 40, to make a guest appearance on the raunchy romance show.
A source said: “Love Island bosses are desperate to get Danny Dyer on the show to support his daughter.
“They are trying to work out whether it will clash with his EastEnders commitments, but will do whatever it takes to make it happen.
“Everyone's convinced a special appearance from Dani's dad would be a major ratings winner and get everyone talking.”
However, the producers are not the only ones eager to see Danny waltz into the infamous villa, as fans of the show have already taken to social media to petition for his guest stint.
Traditionally, Love Island finalist introduce their parents to their fellow contestants during the last stages of the competition.
Therefore if Dani, 21, was to make it to the final her famous dad could come face-to-face with whatever man she paired up with.
One fan tweeted: “We have to get @Dani_MasDyer to the @LoveIsland final. We need to see @MrDDyer on the sexiest show on TV.”
Another insisted: “It’s just occurred to me that if Dani Dyer makes it to the #LoveIsland final then DANNY DYER will enter the villa. This changes EVERYTHING. She has to stay in until the end.”

A third proclaimed: “I just want Dani Dyer to stay in Love Island until the episode where we meet the parents and her dad comes in.”
Someones else said: “If Dani Dyer isn’t kept in the show just to watch Danny Dyer meet the boy that his daughter has been getting with. I will be disappointed.”
It comes after Dani revealed her dad has given her his “blessing” to have sex on national television.
“My dad has given his blessing to have sex,” the barmaid said. “But I am not going to, though.”
She told the Mirror: “He said that because he doesn’t want me to worry and wants to put me at ease. He is so laidback.”

The aspiring actress also confessed her soap star dad was not happy when she told him she planned to star in the new series.
“He wasn’t overjoyed but he said to me, ‘I just want you to respect yourself’.”
However, it was her grandmother who encouraged her to do Love Island, she said: “I spoke to my nan and she said, ‘Go and have eight weeks in Majorca. Go and enjoy yourself’.
“My nan watches the show. She said, ‘Just be respectful’.”
Love Island returns to ITV2 on June 4 at 9pm.
