Manchester Utd lead race for Jack Grealish

The Red Devils are favourites to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish, according to the bookies.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Jack Grealish’s performances during Aston Villa’s run to the Championship play-off final haven’t gone unnoticed.

“Steve Bruce’s side ultimately came up short in their bid to get back to the Premier League and with the purse strings expected to be tightened, the mercurial midfielder may be tempted by a move away from Villa Park if a top flight club comes in for him.

“He’s 11/10 to stay with the Villains, but he could be calling the Theatre of Dreams his new home with Manchester United 4/1 to make a summer move for the 22-year-old, while other possible destinations include Leicester at 11/2 and Tottenham at 7/1.”

Antoine Griezmann breakthrough

Antoine Griezmann has always looked destined to join Barcelona this summer.

But Don Balon say the striker is ready to consider a stunning move to Manchester United instead.

Griezmann has supposedly rejected Barcelona amid uncertainty over his Atletico Madrid future.

And he could now join United - or Manchester City - who are reportedly still keen to secure his signature.

‘I would prefer Manchester’

Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother has sent the transfer mill spinning after revealing where she would prefer her superstar son to play next season.

Immediately after Real Madrid's Champions League success on Saturday, Ronaldo dropped a hint that he was about to leave the club.

The Portugal forward told beIN Sports: “In the next few days I'll give an answer to the fans who have always been by my side. It was beautiful to be at Real Madrid."

Both Paris St-Germain and Manchester United have been tipped to launch offers, and his mother, Dolores Aveiro, admitted that the latter would take her fancy.

"I like Paris. I go there now and again. The last time was with my son when he won the Ballon D'Or. I felt very proud. Every time I go to Paris, everyone treats me very well," she told SFR Sport.

Asked about her son's future and whether it could be in Paris, she said: "If I'm telling you the truth, I wouldn't mind, but I would prefer him to return to Manchester."

Jose Mourinho is targeting a surprising transfer deal this summer, according to Sky Sports.

Express Sport understands the Red Devils are closing in on Fred, who appears set to leave Shakhtar Donetsk.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Toby Alderweireld, Diogo Dalot, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have also been linked.

However, Sky Sports say Mourinho is eyeing a shock Manchester United deal for West Ham ace Marko Arnautovic.

The Austria international only signed for the Hammers from Stoke in a £26million deal last summer, but it’s thought the club value him at £50m.
