Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

President Ram Nath Kovind has said that life of Ramabai Ambedkar, the first wife of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, is inspirational for every Indian woman. He said Ramabai played an important role in each movement started by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and stood by him in his difficult times.

The President was speaking after unveiling the statue of Matoshri Ramabai Ambedkar in Pune today. HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar and Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale were present on this occasion.

Earlier, the President spoke at the inaugural function of International School of Sadhu Vaswani Mission in Pune. He said Pune can lead the education movement in the country following the path of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Mahatma Phule.
