Mexico’s president had a quick and adamant response after President Donald Trump again vowed Tuesday night that Mexico would pay for a border wall.

“NO. Mexico will NEVER pay for a wall. Not now, not ever.”

President Enrique Peña Nieto tweeted that — signing it “Sincerely, Mexico (all of us)” — after Trump spoke at a Republican campaign rally in Nashville, Tenn.

“In the end, Mexico is going to pay for the wall,” Trump said Tuesday night. “They make all of this money, and they do absolutely nothing to stop people from going through Mexico, from Honduras and all these other countries, the caravan, all of this stuff. . . . They do nothing to help us, nothing.

“They’re going to pay for the wall, and they’re going to enjoy it,” Trump said.

During the Nashville speech, Trump also continued to falsely claim the FBI “infiltrated” his campaign, attacked Democratic leaders Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, and again called members of the MS-13 gang “animals.”
