OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The head of a wind energy trade group has been subpoenaed to appear before an Oklahoma grand jury looking into a state lawmaker's claim that someone linked to the industry is responsible for putting a tracking device on his pickup. Court documents filed in Austin, Texas, show The Wind Coalition President Jeffrey Clark has been directed to appear before the grand jury in June. Political consultant George Shipley also has been subpoenaed. Lawyers for the men didn't return phone messages Wednesday.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Police recovered ammunition among other items from the home of a man who shot and wounded patrons inside an Oklahoma restaurant last week. The warrant to search the apartment of 28-year-old Alexander Tilghman was issued just more than four hours after police say Tilghman wounded three people about 6:30 p.m. last Thursday at Louie's On The Lake.
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A U.S. attorney in Oklahoma says federal air marshals de-escalated a situation involving an unruly passenger that forced a Delta Air Lines flight from Portland, Oregon, to Atlanta to land in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa-based prosecutor R. Trent Shores said in a statement Wednesday that the FBI will continue to investigate and that his office will review whether the passenger's actions violated federal law. It's unclear what the passenger did.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma attorney general's office has sided with a group trying to repeal recently approved tax hikes meant to fund teacher pay raises. The Oklahoman reports the office on Tuesday said the wording of the group's referendum petition for a statewide vote is clear enough. But state attorneys also said the state Supreme Court should clarify whether the tax bill referendum would affect a separate teacher pay raise bill.
